Tropic Care on Kauai:

The Kauai Community College Performing Arts Center has once again been chosen to be the headquarters for Tropic Care on Kauai. Our ‘Green Room’ hospitality room will be turned in to ‘Mission Control’ for this great service to the Garden Island. The free medical care that will be provided to our community is significant in 2017 and much needed. The PAC is honored to be part of this endeavor and pleased that our facility will be utilized by our service men and women to furnish much needed attention to all who need it.  This is a U.S. Department of Defense program and the medical care is free and of no cost whatsoever to our island community.  Services will include physical exams, eye exams, eyeglasses, dental exams, tooth extractions and fillings. For more information, please contact the Kauai Department of Health @ 808-241-3555.

Center for Spiritual Living Kauai hosts an evening of spiritual cinema with Kumare, an insightful look at faith and belief. A provocative social experiment-turned-documentary, Kumare follows American filmmaker Vikram Gandhi as he transforms himself into a wise Indian guru, hoping to prove the absurdity of blind faith. Instead, he finds himself forging profound connections with people from all walks of life — and wondering if and when to reveal his true self. Popcorn will be served and an optional group discussion follows the movie.
