Hawaii Craftsmen will be hosting three nationally recognized mainland artists for their Aha Hana Lima series of workshops throughout the month of March. Bookmaker Daniel Essig kicks off the 2017 Aha Hana Lima season on Maui on Thursday, March 9th,  with a public presentation and workshop on making mica books. He will be joining fiber artist, Lisa Klakulak, and glass artist, Matthew Szösz, on Oahu on Thursday, March 16th, for a public presentation of their work. Workshops will be held on the following days. Daniel will give the second of his workshops on mica books, this time featuring wood covers. Glass artist Matthew Szösz will be giving two workshops on Oahu on kiln-formed three dimensional glass structures while fiber artist Lisa Klakulak will be giving her first workshop on felting. In the following week, Lisa Klakulak will be moving on to Kauai to give a public presentation followed by a workshop onThursday, March 23rd. ?Registration is open to members and the general public.
